There are 21 children preparing for First Holy Communion on 21st June. Also their parents are receiving some adult catechesis at the same time and this is well attended and appreciated.  

There is also a group of 15 young adults preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation, which will be conferred on them by Bishop Patrick on 24th June and there were two young men who were received into full Communion with the Church at the Easter Vigil by our Parish Priest Fr Tom. 

This year alone there have been 4 Baptisms and two others receiving preparation. So you can see that as a Parish, we are blessed with a lively faith community wishing to grow in the Catholic Faith. We thank our Catechists who give of their time freely to build up the Parish in their faith and I'm sure God will bless them for their commitment.  As a Parish, we pray for these young people as they each continue on their journey of faith, throughout their lives.
