Easter Sunday brings hope for our future in faith
The cold stone of the tomb, where a broken corpse lay
Now gives the world hope at the break of This Day
So frightened and lost the disciples had fled
They deserted their Christ as his body had bled
How can we recover our hope in such gloom?
Where do we find light in the dark of the tomb?
The promise he made to the whole of mankind
When we seek out our Lord then our faith we will find
As the rising of Christ saved the world long ago
If today we have hope then our future will glow
